Take the Guesswork out of System Operation
This valve is one of the lightest, most durable gate valves on the market today. Its design features and material selection criteria fulfill the need for a long-lasting, easy-to-operate gate valve. The lightweight design is easy to handle and helps reduce shipping costs while still providing a tight seal for your fire protection system.
The handle of an outside screw and yoke valve raises and lowers the gate, starting or stopping water flow. As the handle is turned, the stem will rise or lower out of the valve and provide a clear visual as to the valve’s status. Knowing when the gate is opened or closed can help reduce excessive force and extend the life span of the valve.
