EAS-1 Sprinkler Control Heat Sensor
For Use in the EAS-1 Electronically Activated Sprinkler System
Detect and Suppress Fire Sooner
This heat sensor connects to the ESFR-17 sprinkler used in the EAS-1 system. It features an epoxy encapsulated electronic thermal sensor design. It is intended to withstand both high temperature and high humidity conditions. It can be used for rate-of-rise and fixed temperature sensing.
Here’s how the system works. Sprinklers are installed on existing system piping. Each sprinkler has an attached heat sensor, which are wired back to a suppression releasing panel. During a fire event, heat sensors detect a fire. The system identifies the fire location and the suppression releasing panel sends a signal to simultaneously activate only the sprinklers required to address the fire.

Benefits
Use your Existing Infrastructure
Avoid the cost of new pipe and fire pumps with a retrofit solution that replaces the sprinkler heads on your existing piping.
Maximize Warehouse Flexibility
Change storage arrangements and commodity classifications without changing your fire protection system.
Lower Fire Risk Profile
Reduced potential for direct and indirect property damage and loss of downtime due to fire.
Reduce Fire and Water Damage
Earlier detection means 60% smaller fires and significantly reduced water damage, and minimized clean-up costs.
