AMD-2 - Compressor Control Air Maintenance Device
For small, non-tank-mounted compressors
The AMD-2 controls the on-off cycling of an air compressor. It is used to control the pressure in a dry pipe sprinkler system, pre-action system, or dry pilot line.
- UL and C-UL Listed, FM Approved, NYC Approved under MEA 206-02-E Field adjustable
- Used in conjunction with a small, non-tank-mounted air compressor
- Monitors sprinkler system or dry pilot line detection and automatically cycles the compressor to maintain system pressure within preset limits

- Automatically cycles the compressor to maintain system pressure within preset limits
- Field-adjustable pressures: minimum cut-in (ON): 14 psi (1,0 bar) ; maximum cut-out (OFF): 60 psi (4,1 bar)
- Factory-set outlet pressure: 35 to 41 psi (2,4 to 2,8 bar)
- Used in conjunction with a small, non-tank-mounted air compressor
- Pressure switch with integral unloading valve automatically bleeds the pressure between the air compressor and the AMD-2 after the air compressor automatically shuts off
- Pressure switch differential: 6 psi (0,4 bar)
