System Type | Wet |
Product Type | Nitrogen Inerting |
Facilitate the Nitrogen Inerting Process
The Nitrogen Injection Port is used as part of the Wet Pipe Nitrogen Inerting (WPNI) process to provide internal corrosion control for wet pipe fire sprinkler systems.
The port provides access for the nitrogen gas to be injected into the piping network and achieves a nitrogen gas concentration of at least 98%.
Features
- For use during the Wet Pipe Nitrogen Inerting (WPNI) process
- Also available with a TAV-WN Automatic Air Vent
- Installed on a riser on the system side of the main control valve
Benefits
Reduce Corrosion
Nitrogen replaces corrosion-causing oxygen.
Extend Useful Life
Reducing corrosion can extend the service life of a fire sprinkler system.
Minimize Business Interruption
System leaks due to corrosion can lead to costly downtime; reducing corrosion helps keep systems healthy and operational.
