Get Early Warning of Potential System Corrosion
The Tyco® TILD In-Line Corrosion Detector is designed to be installed where corrosion is most likely to occur — the air/water interface. The TILD features roll-grooved ends to allow for easy integration into the system. The thin wall section of the detector is designed to experience a corrosion leak before your system piping is at risk. This approach is much more accurate than methods that use corrosion coupons installed on the fire sprinkler system riser or other dead-end locations within the system that are not representative of worst-case conditions.
